Students can learn to add and subtract fluently with the 21 fun, hands-on math centers and 80 no prep practice pages. In Unit 2 of Math Made Fun for 3rd Grade, students apply place value strategies from Unit 1 and other strategies previously taught with larger numbers. Through a variety of strategies, students learn that numbers can be adjusted to compute more efficiently. By applying a variety of grade-level addition and subtraction strategies, students develop greater accuracy and confidence. By 3rd Grade, students are required to fluently add and subtract within 1,000 with and without regrouping.
